Kangaroo 1 oz | Gold

The Kangaroo, first called the « Nugget », is a gold coin issued by the Perth Mint in Australia since 1986. The reverse design, a kangaroo, changes every year; the obverse carries the effigy of the British sovereign.

It contains one troy ounce of gold at 999.9 thousandths, that is 31.1 grams, for a diameter of 32.1 mm. Each example is guaranteed by the Australian government. Its face value is 100 Australian dollars.
