Vienna Philharmonic 1 oz | Silver

The Silver Vienna Philharmonic is an Austrian one ounce silver coin, struck since 2008 by the Münze Österreich, the Austrian Mint. It is the work of the engraver Thomas Pesendorfer. It is 999 thousandths fine, weighs 31.10 grams and measures 37 mm across.

The obverse shows the great organ of the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, above the inscription « republik österreich ».

The reverse shows a group of instruments from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, a harp, a horn, violins, a cello and a bassoon, with the inscription « wiener philharmoniker ».
