5 Roubles Nicholas II | Gold

The 5 Roubles Nicholas II was struck from 1897 to 1911.

The obverse shows Nicholas II, the last tsar of Russia, who reigned from 1896 to 1917; the reverse shows the double-headed imperial eagle, the face value and the year. It is 900 thousandths fine, weighs 4.3 grams, with a diameter of 18.5 mm.

Struck in more than 130 million examples, it is the most emblematic coin of the Russian Empire.
